4. Submit Required Documents

It is the responsibility of the parent to submit documentation from previous schools for consideration of their student for admission.  NWCS will formally request records once the student is accepted and enrolled.

Supporting Documents can either be uploaded with the application or provided directly to the school:

  • If uploading, all documents must be uploaded prior to submitting the application.
  • If not uploading, documents can be emailed to Jana Baldwin, Admissions Coordinator, at jbaldwin@nwcs.org, or faxed to the school at 509.238.2242.

Please note: If you do not have the supporting documents at the time of application, they can be submitted afterward, but delays in receiving them may delay the processing of your student's application.

Types of Documents:

  • Most Recent Report Card (1st-12th): Please submit the most recent two full years of report card. If you do not have access to these records, contact the previous school directly. NWCS will request formal records only after your student has been accepted.
  • Standardized Test Results (2nd-12th): Same as directions for the most recent report card.
  • Immunization Records: NWCS does not have a preference regarding immunization or exemption but requires proper documentation. Immunization records must be doctor-verified. Please have your child's doctor submit the records by fax at 509.238.2242.
  • IEP/504/Diagnosis/Individual Testing: If applicable, these documents must be provided.
  • Custody Papers:  If applicable, these documents must be provided.

Class Maximums/Wait Pool

Northwest Christian Schools follows grade and class maximums. If an applicant meets the necessary standards, the student will be placed in our wait pool. When an opening becomes available, the most qualified candidate will be selected. However, priority will be given to children with siblings already enrolled in the school.

NWCS is committed to providing every student, regardless of their unique learning challenges, with access to a gospel-centered education. We understand the specific obstacles that students with learning differences may face and are dedicated to supporting them throughout their educational journey in collaboration with their parents. However, if a learning difference or prior diagnosis is not disclosed to NWCS at the time of application, this may lead to the student’s unenrollment.

Northwest Christian Schools does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin in the administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship and loan programs, and athletic and other school-administered programs.
